Newburgh Veterinary Hospital is pleased to offer daily daycare services for our canine friends. Your pet will spend the day romping, playing, and relaxing with our staff in our recently renovated resort. We have spacious indoor and outdoor play areas complete with fun obstacles and toys and, of course, lots of treats! We also offer different programs for our high-energy and senior guests that may need something a little extra.
$17.50 a day or $189 Unlimited Monthly Special plus tax
Unlimited Day Care for the Month – Monday Through Saturday. Subject to black out dates
Canine Day Care
Active Dog Program:
Geared toward our particularly hi-energy guests, our active dog program will ensure that you and your pet get to spend quality, quiet time together at the end of your busy day. Pets enrolled in this program enjoy three walks per day, and spend one-on-one time playing off leash with our qualified staff twice a day. Activities take place both in our spacious therapy room and outdoor pen, and include games like fetch, tug of war, and playing with our various obstacles. We will also work with your dog, teaching basic commands like sit, stay and shake, as well as on-leash manners. For our especially high energy guests, we offer a rigorous in water treadmill workout in the afternoon – a great way for your pet to get low impact exercise with maximum results.
Senior Dog Program:
Our senior dog program is specially designed for older pets that are not as quick as they use to be. Our senior guests will enjoy three gentle walks per day, in addition to two “playtimes” in the morning and afternoon. Playtimes take place both in our spacious therapy room and outdoor pen and are created around your pets’ needs and ability. They can consist of gentle play, brushing, or just quiet one-on-one time with our staff giving pats and belly rubs.
